Hi,
I'm Andrew Edhouse and I took up carving some five years ago.
My favourite subjects for carvings are dolphins, whales and birds of prey however I also enjoy carving large somewhat abstract pieces.
I like unbroken lines so that you can really appreciate the inherent beauty of the timber itself. I strive to bring out the grain and like a high polish finish.

The Dolphin
This is Andrew Edhouse's carving named The Dolphin.
It is carved from camphor laurel (Cinnamomum camphora), a hardy evergreen that can grow up to 20 metres tall !
It is approximately 1.6 metres high and 400mm wide and is finished to a high shine.
This item is heavy and delivery may take a little while !

Entwined
This carving features two Dolphins with an Octopus is made by Andrew Edhouse and it is titled Entwined.
It is made from Australian Hardwood and is approximately 1m high by 400mm diameter at the base and 700mm diameter at the top.
